Sanducu Log Buildings ltd was established in 2014 by the director Ionut Sanducu, after seven years of working as Self Employed for a Finnish Log Company in the UK and the previous ten years working in the same field in Europe.
“When I was 16, I started working as an apprentice in handcrafted log homes, and I am very grateful that I have found my passion and career in which I have invested ever since. In 2007 I was offered the chance to learn the Finnish way of building log houses with factory-manufactured logs, and in 2014, I started my own company as the demand outgrown the Self-Employed limits. Our UK portfolio includes domestic lodges and luxury leisure log cabins such as The Hunter Lodges at The Celtic Manor Golf course, The Glass House at Burns Park Bude, and Great Field Lodges in North Devon and Rivercatcher in North Wales.
As we stand now, the company has built over 50 log houses in the UK, and the director Ionut Sanducu was involved in building more than 200 log houses in the UK. In 2017 we started expanding into Europe with projects in Portugal and Romania.
Sanducu Log Buildings works with the best log factories in Finland but has a close relationship with Honka UK and their subcontractors, which understand log construction very well and are very careful in preserving the wood quality. This is a crucial factor in securing the highest standard and preservation of the building.
